Service Description

Tools are included. We own the land that has a large stand of perfect sized black spruce trees to thin for canoe poles. Spring is when the bark peels like a banana! Accessible only by a 10 minute canoe paddle. $200 for the day and you keep the pole!

You don't have to be a Guide to sign up. This is a weekend Canoe trip on beautiful Cobbossee stream. We will teach paddle strokes and then paddle about 4 hours to camp where we will teach how to set up a wilderness camp kitchen and a solid camp in any conditions. We will teach camp cooking over an open fire, tarp setups, and wood splitting. All food and canoe gear is included in the price. ($400 for the weekend). Please provide your own tent and sleep system. This class will enable you to have the skills to stay safe and comfortable in the wilderness.
