I don't know a single working Guide who doesn't pole a canoe. As a canoeist, when I knew I could see and I could stop, in any rapid, it changed my life! I felt like I went from being a leaf to a fish! Able to control where I went regardless of the current. Wilderness Canoe Tripping Skills Weekend

After so many canoeists asked, we have decided to offer an affordable weekend canoe trip. On beautiful Cobbossee stream we will paddle and camp overnight. This is our chance to teach paddle strokes, cooking, tarp setups, wood splitting, canoe safety and group dynamics during a short but fabulous canoe trip. All food and canoe gear is included in the price. $400 per person for the entire weekend. Please bring your own tent and sleep system. After this hands on class, you will have the skills to be safer and more comfortable on any adventure.

Saturday August 31 - Sunday September 1, 2024

You don't have to be a Guide to sign up. This is a weekend Canoe trip on beautiful Cobbossee stream. We will teach paddle strokes and then paddle about 4 hours to camp where we will teach how to set up a wilderness camp kitchen and a solid camp in any conditions. We will teach camp cooking over an open fire, tarp setups, and wood splitting. All food and canoe gear is included in the price. ($400 for the weekend). Please provide your own tent and sleep system. This class will enable you to have the skills to stay safe and comfortable in the wilderness.
