Food can save a trip! You can't control the weather or the river, but the food is something that can make the toughest day a distant memory. Learn how to set up an effective camp kitchen, anywhere! How to bake and make Chicken Pad Tai in the middle of nowhere. Learn safe and effective clean up.

You don't have to be a Guide to sign up. This is a weekend Canoe trip on beautiful Cobbossee stream. We will teach paddle strokes and then paddle about 4 hours to camp where we will teach how to set up a wilderness camp kitchen and a solid camp in any conditions. We will teach camp cooking over an open fire, tarp setups, and wood splitting. All food and canoe gear is included in the price. ($400 for the weekend). Please provide your own tent and sleep system. This class will enable you to have the skills to stay safe and comfortable in the wilderness.
